SPX 2010
Howdy y’all! I will be at SPX this year, being silly and drawing doodles. I will be at table W-1 & W-2, with Jamie, Anthony, Josh and Flynn, because they are super nice and awesome.
I will have my new mini and a teaser for The Girl and The Gorilla- If the postal service doesn’t fail then I might be lucky enough to have the actual book!
My mini last year was titled ‘DUDES’ , this year I opted for the more classy-

This is slightly off topic to most everything I post, but I think it’s important.
DEAR EVERYONE,
When you travel outside of your home country, PLEASE, PLEASE, double and triple check the visa requirements. Make sure you are actually ALLOWED to GO to where you plan on going.
I’ve seen too many people who have been denied entry to a country, and subsequently get sent right back to where they came from. It’s not fun, and in some cases, you’ll be banned from the country for a number of years.
Many countries require you to purchase visas upon entry at customs, and it’s important to know how payment should be given.
Egypt, for example, is very strict on Americans bringing $15 for a visa, they want ONE $10 bill and ONE $5 bill. Cash.
Russia denies entry to any person who was not invited into the country by a host. Some places in Switzerland are like that as well.
I’ll say it again, double and triple check, before your trip, day of your trip, and during your trip.
Oh, and make sure you have a valid passport.

Harem Pants
Harem pants and Jumpers. I admire the ladies who can pull off that look. I’ve seen a lot more around town and personally, I like them. I think it gives them an interesting shape- wether it’s flattering or not is someone else’s personal opinion.
I tend to spot and draw the people who wear the same kind of muted colour palette that I wear. I think Angela from The Office and I would be great friends.

Two more weeks until SPX! I’m going to try to knock out another mini- I’m not 100% on the one I’ve finished, and I have some mini scripts in my black book, so we’ll see if there’s something there. Either way, I’m making something!
This Girl
This little girl had little to no self awareness. She stared at me the whole time while I was in a waiting room, until her dad finally said ” Sweetie, if you are going to stare at people at least have the decency to talk to them.”
what OTHERS wore
These were all ladies who were on the same flight from London- But i’ve noticed that these ladies are on every flight from the UK, with colour variations.
Kind of like how there are always the same students in high school- just different faces.
Also- today is better!
At least my socks are cool…

I made butter noodles and am shutting myself in my room to watch Mission Hill.

Mini-Mini Preview
This is a mini preview of the mini that I am making for SPX. Oh look! The Tainos are back! It’s because it’s a bedtime story my dad used to tell me. He likes the mini- so I guess that’s all that really matters, but it’d be nice if other people liked it too.
